Erin Hall is the Director of Advancement for the Contemplative Sciences Center. Since joining the team in July 2014, Erin has served as CSC’s chief development officer, overseeing all aspects of fundraising. In addition, she provides oversight of communications and marketing and works closely with the Executive Director on strategic planning and development of special initiatives.
Previously, Erin worked for eleven years for the University of Virginia’s College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences in its development office. In that time, she traveled nationwide on behalf of the University and worked closely with the College’s arts departments. In addition, she ran the development efforts for the Virginia Film Festival, Heritage Theatre Festival and Cavalier Marching Band as well as led the leadership annual giving program for Arts & Sciences.
Outside of her role at UVA, Erin serves as a member of the board of directors for Live Arts, Charlottesville’s community theater. She volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for eight years. She is also a past member of the Alumni Association Board of St. Andrew’s School in Delaware. Erin received her B.A. in Drama and History from the University of Virginia in 2005.
