Join Tim Davis for this session focused on mindfulness practices and emotional resilience. Tim is the Executive Director for Student Resilience & Leadership Development at UVA. He will speak as well as lead a hands-on session. No previous experience in mindfulness meditation is required. Please wear comfortable attire.

Title: “Mindfulness, Integration, and Emotional Resilience”

As Executive Director for Resilience & Leadership Development, Tim provides strategic direction on the University’s efforts to foster resilience and build leadership potential in the student community. Prior to his current role, Tim was Director of the UVA Center for Counseling & Psychological Services. Before that, he served as Associate Director/Clinical Director at the University of Michigan Counseling & Psychological Services Department. More recently Tim completed the Leadership/Executive Coaching Certification program at Georgetown University. Prior to his career as a clinical psychologist, Tim held a variety of marketing and research positions with The Procter & Gamble Company. He left P&G in order to study the development of happier and healthier individuals and organizations.
This program is part of an 8-week Rotunda Contemplative Practice Series. It is open to the public and free of charge. No registration is required. Please arrive early—room size will dictate class capacity. You may attend individual or multiple sessions as class capacity allows.
