This facilitated student group is part of CSC's Flourishing While Black program and meets for one hour every Wednesday designed with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) students in mind. Sessions begin with a brief introduction and include a mindfulness practice and debriefing. Any UVA student looking to engage in mindfulness practices in a safe and supportive space is welcomed to join the group and attend on a drop-in basis. No previous experience required. All are welcome so please come as you are.

**Additional groups may be added based on feedback. To indicate interest in joining a group at another day or time, please email Leslie Hubbard: lh2tm@virginia.edu

Regularly practicing mindfulness—taking the time to intentionally focus on the present moment without judgment—will make you feel and function better. Practicing with others also gives you a much-needed sense of social connection and belonging. Mindfulness can help relieve stress, build resilience, and help you focus.
