This series is designed as an introduction to the basics of mindfulness practice aimed at integrating fundamental principles of awareness, focus, stress resilience, emotional intelligence, balance, and healthy communication into all aspects of daily life.
This first series, a 6-week class, is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced meditators who want to refresh the fundamentals of their practice. It will run from Sept. 13 - Oct. 18. It will then repeat starting the following week from Oct. 25 - Dec. 6.
Instructor: Robin Albertson-Wren
This series is open to all UVA students, faculty, and staff as well as community members. No prior registration is necessary. Registration will take place in person during the first two classes. Space is limited to 20 participants.
