This class is free and open to the public. It is open to all levels.
This class, co-sponsored with Compassionate Care Initiative, will cover the basics of T'ai Chi, a martial art characterized by soft, slow flowing movements of the torso and arms coordinated with weight shifts and steps. T'ai Chi emphasizes relaxation and is a form of meditation in motion that improves balance, muscle tone, and promotes stress reduction.
