Navigating the various roles and responsibilities of a graduate program can be disorienting and stressful. This interactive 90-minute workshop will explore how contemplative approaches to research, teaching, and daily life can enhance wellbeing. The class will draw from the art and science of human flourishing, and focus on theories and techniques for thriving in graduate school and postdoc training. The session will also explore ways to foster meaningful and inspiring relationships to our work, and to maintain integrity with ourselves and our peers. This class is part of PHD Plus—UVA's University-wide initiative to prepare graduate students across all disciplines for long-term career success. Faculty please share this opportunity with your graduate and post doctoral students.
