Paul Tudor Jones
Title
Mr. Jones is founder, Co-Chairman, Chief Investment Officer and the controlling principal of Tudor Investment Corporation. Mr. Jones formed Tudor in 1980 and serves as its principal risk taker. Mr. Jones is a global macro discretionary trader and the primary risk taker for the firm’s flagship fund, Tudor BVI Global Fund, and the sole risk taker for Tudor Futures Fund.
Mr. Jones served as Chairman of the New York Cotton Exchange (August 1992–June 1995) and was instrumental in the creation of its Financial Instrument Exchange (FINEX). His philanthropic service includes founding and serving as Chairman of the Robin Hood Foundation, the Bedford Stuyvesant I Have A Dream program and the Excellence Charter School. Mr. Jones serves as Director of StudentsFirst NY and is also on the Advisory Board of the University of Virginia’s Contemplative Sciences Center. He is Director of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Chairman of The Everglades Foundation Inc., Trustee of NYU Langone Medical Center and serves on the Board of the Apollo Theater Foundation.
Mr. Jones graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in economics.
