This course provides an in-depth experience in contemplative practices to prepare students to live more fully, be more engaged and compassionate citizens and professionals, and navigate life’s stressors with greater clarity, peace of mind, and healthy behaviors. It’s based on the evidence-based Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program, yet expanded and modified with additional emphasis on the cultivation of compassion and prosocial qualities.
