Title

Summer Hiking Series

When

Every Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Jul 1, 2017 through Jul 29, 2017

Put down your laptop, lace up your hiking boots, and come spend a day immersed in nature with your friends and a member of Contemplation@UVA!

We’ll be exploring some new ways to connect and engage with nature, ourselves, and others through basic contemplative practices while hiking beautiful trails in George Washington and Jefferson National Forests and Shenandoah National Park.

Hikes are capped at 20 people, provided we have volunteers to drive, and you can sign up at the link below. There is a $5 fee for hikes in the Shenandoahs (marked below) to cover entrance fee costs (Crabtree Falls and Spy Rock are free of cost). We will meet up and depart at 10:00am and be back between 3:00-4:00pm depending on distance/difficulty.

SATURDAYS IN JULY
7/1 Crabtree Falls (3.8 mi)
7/8 Hightop Mountain *Shenandoahs (5.6 mi)
