WORKSHOP
For graduate students. Registration required.
How we do something can be just as important as what we do. In this first of three in-depth workshops this semester, Karolyn Kinane, Associate Director at the Contemplative Sciences Center, will discuss how attention to “disposition” can complement a course’s focus on content and skills. Participants will have significant time to create or revise an assignment or activity by developing goals from the “Caring” and “Human Dimensions” of Fink’s Taxonomy of Significant Learning Experiences to bring attention to students’ dispositions.
This workshop is part of the Center for Teaching Excellence’s Tomorrow’s Professor Today program.
The Zoom meeting information will be provided once you register. For questions about registration, contact Claire Reeger (claire.reeger@virginia.edu).
