The 2023 Contemplative Practices for Higher Education (CPHE) Conference offers an opportunity for higher education professionals, students and others who are using or interested in learning more about contemplative practices to gather to share new work and explore new methods across disciplines and domains. We invite teachers and professors, researchers, students, community members and contemplative practitioners.

 

This gathering is sponsored by the Contemplative Higher Education Alliance for Research, Teaching, and Services (C-HEARTS), Mid-Atlantic, with support from the Contemplative Sciences Center at the University of Virginia.  

 

The 2023 conference welcomes new or experienced practitioners of meditation and the full range of other contemplative practices, students, as well as professionals interested in academic pedagogy, research and integrating contemplative practices into their disciplines. Radford University is the host of this gathering, under the leadership of Conference Co-Chairs Gini Weisz, and Alan Forrest, and the 2023 Conference Organizing Committee.
