CSC is offering tours of the Contemplative Commons and the nearby Dell Pond as part of UVA's 2023 Family Weekend being held November 3-5. Events will take place throughout the weekend, including a home football game against Georgia Tech on Saturday, November 4.

Join leadership from the Contemplative Sciences Center on a behind the scenes tour of the Contemplative Commons, UVA's first contemporary building specifically designed for a new model of higher education—one dedicated to whole-student learning and flourishing! This is a tour of a construction site; tour attendees must be able to navigate themselves through rough terrain and wear sturdy closed-toed shoes and long pants. Limited to 15 participants. Waitlist.
MINDFUL WALK AT THE DELL
1:30 - 2:30pm
Dell Pond Overlook
Take a mindful and peaceful tour of the Dell Pond and learn about the Dell's ecology, its art installations, guided by the Contemplative Sciences Center and other departments. Meet at the Dell Pond Overlook, on Emmett Street across from the UVA Bookstore, and dress for the weather.
