Katherine Ludwig

Katherine is Director of Communications at the Contemplative Sciences Center. She directs the center's internal and external communications, public relations, and content strategies and oversees the creation of content across all aspects of the center that raises awareness of CSC's programs, services, and mission. Katherine also serves as Managing Editor of the University of Flourishing. 

She has been a professional writer and editor for 14 years. In 2017 she published Humility Is the New Smart: Rethinking Human Excellence in the Smart Machine Age (Berrett-Koehler) co-authored with Darden School of Business professor Edward D. Hess. Previously Katherine practiced  securities law and was associate general counsel of a public technology company in Seattle, WA.

Katherine has a B.A. in International Relations and Japanese from Bucknell University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
