Katherine Ludwig

Katherine is the Associate Editor for the Contemplative Sciences Center, having joined the CSC team in June 2018. She supports CSC’s Scholarship and Communications divisions, with a specific focus on generating and editing content for the Contemplative Universitya digital resource of scholarship in the contemplative humanities and sciences.

In 2017 she co-authored a book with Darden School of Business professor Edward D. Hess entitled Humility Is the New Smart: Rethinking Human Excellence in the Smart Machine Age (Berrett-Koehler). Katherine has been a professional editor and writer for 13 years; she was also a securities lawyer and associate general counsel of a public technology company in Seattle.
 

Katherine received a B.A. in International Relations and Japanese from Bucknell University in 1997 and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2000.
