Kathleen Michel is the Administrative Coordinator for the Contemplative Sciences Center at the University of Virginia, providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Center operations.
Prior to joining CSC, Kathleen was a site coordinator for Reading for Life, a nonprofit working with at-risk teens. She also worked as an ESL instructor at University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Dayton as well as in administrative capacities in organizations including The Abraham Path and The Association of Colorado Independent Schools. She holds a Master’s in Teaching from Miami University and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Naropa University.
Outside of her role at UVA, Kathleen enjoys hiking, gardening, meditation, reading, and the creative arts. She also volunteers with JABA (Jefferson Area Board for Aging) and Ligmincha International in Shipman, VA.
