Ran is a Lab Coordinator at the Contemplative Sciences Center, where she supports contemplative research at the CIRCL Lab. With an interdisciplinary background and an insatiable curiosity about the mind, she joined CIRCL to explore the dynamic relationship between nature and mind—and how this connection can foster well-being through contemplative practices. Ran is particularly interested in the intersection of neuroscience, technology, and contemplative traditions as a path toward understanding the nature of consciousness and supporting human flourishing. She holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Philosophy, and a Master’s in Integrative Neuroscience. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, spending time with her cat, and exploring the beauty of Charlottesville.
